Job Description

Colchester East Hants Mental Health & Addictions is seeking a full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.  Join Nova Scotia's thriving healthcare ecosystem, where your expertise is valued and your contributions drive innovative, compassionate care for generations to come.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level health care. 
• Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority. 
• Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities. 

Expected Hours

• Permanent Full-Time Short-Term Appointment
• 37.5 hours per week
• 46 out of 52 weeks per year
• Call schedule to be determined

Remuneration

• $375,000 to 400,000
• Sessional Rate

Qualifications

• All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS). 
• Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or proof of alternative coverage.
