Job Description
The community of Shelburne is seeking a full scope family physician to join their family practice network team in the Shelburne Family Practice.

Responsibilities
- Delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
- Work toward same day or next day access for the practice population
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
- Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members
- Physicians will have the opportunity to participate in the inpatient rotation at Roseway Hospital as well long-term care and emergency department opportunities.
Expected Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- 46 out of 52 weeks in a year
Remuneration
- $375, 000 -$400,000
- Remuneration type is Longitudinal Family Medicine payment model

Qualifications
- All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- All applicants must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
