Job Description

Clare Health Centre is seeking a Family Physician to provide Locum coverage during a period of active recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
  • work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access
  • utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members

Remuneration

  • guaranteed daily minimum income of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 or half-day)
  • additional shadow billings if above amount is exceeded.
  • accommodations up to $300 per night 
  • travel expenses (including air fare up to $1,500)
  • travel time up to 10 hours per week
  • licensing fees for College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPSNS)

Clinic Details 

Clare Health Centre is a well-established family practice clinic located in a welcoming, rural French-speaking community. The clinic is supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes several physicians, two Family Practice Nurses, one Nurse Practitioner, a part-time Social Worker, and experienced administrative staff. This team-based environment supports comprehensive, patient-centred care across the lifespan.
