      Job Description

      The community of Eskasoni is seeking a family physician to join their primary care team. The successful physician will join two other physicians practicing in the community. A variety of practice types are available and include collaborative practices as well as independent practice opportunities. This community has a brand-new health centre, new LTC and always looking for ways to expand health services.

      Eskasoni First Nation is the largest Mi’kmaw community in Nova Scotia where community members are well versed in their culture and language. It is also home to Eskasoni Goat Island home of Eskasoni Cultural Journeys known for its tourism. Eskasoni is conveniently located in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM). The CBRM is the second largest municipality in the province of Nova Scotia. With a population of approximately 115,000,
