Company Description

Eastern Passage Family Practice offers a 0.5 FTE family practice opportunity in the growing coastal community of Eastern Passage, within the Halifax Regional Municipality. This ambulatory care role is based in a new, oceanfront Nova Scotia Health clinic and is supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes two family physicians, two nurse practitioners, a family practice nurse, a CCNS coordinator, social work, and dedicated administrative staff. In addition to clinic-based family medicine, there is an optional opportunity to complement practice hours with subacute hospitalist work at West Bedford Transitional Health, providing a varied and well-supported scope of practice in a modern, team-based setting.

Job Description

Eastern Passage Family Practice is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide Locum coverage for July 6 to July 26, 2026.

Compensation is provided by the service, and locum physicians are eligible to access the travel elements of the program, including reimbursement for kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered, and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
