Company Description

Pictou County Family Medicine is seeking family medicine physicians to join their communities. Pictou County has established practices including the Westville Medical Clinic, and traditional family medicine practices in Stellarton, New Glasgow, and Pictou. There is also a unique opportunity to partner with Pictou Landing First Nation Health Centre to help address the healthcare needs of our First Nations community. These practices utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and are well supported by hospital staff and services.  Physicians can also refer patients to the One Door Chronic Disease Management Centre. There are independant and collaborative practices available.

  • participate in on call shifts
  • provide inpatient care

Expected Hours

  • full time, part time
  • 37.5 hours per week (full time)
  • 46 weeks per year (full time)
  • four weeks vacation
  • two weeks Continuing Medical Education (CME)
