The QEII Health Sciences Centre is the largest adult tertiary care center in Atlantic Canada and is part
of Nova Scotia Health. It is the core adult clinical teaching facility for Dalhousie University’s Faculty of
Medicine. In addition to residency programs in Diagnostic Radiology, Neuroradiology and Nuclear
Medicine, the Department of Diagnostic Imaging offers a variety of fellowship programs including MSK.
Job Description
A diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty training in musculoskeletal imaging is required to join an
academic practice group of 43 radiologists at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax and the
Dalhousie Department of Diagnostic Radiology. Expertise in all aspects of MSK imaging, including CT, MRI, Ultrasound and image guided MSK procedures is essential. A proven or promising academic portfolio in research and/or education is highly desirable. Academic rank will be in accordance with prior achievements.
Qualifications
The candidate will be an FRCPC, or equivalent, in Diagnostic Radiology and have a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging.
In addition to their activities in the MSK section, the successful candidate will be expected to work in
other areas of the Department based on their interests and expertise in support of the clinical needs of the group.
